One of our favorite things about the holiday season is the kindness and spirit of giving that it evokes from people. Amidst all the hustle and bustle, we hope to also take the time to give back and remember those less fortunate than us. Unfortunately, finding the time to give back can be tricky. There are holiday parties to attend, cookies to bake, decorations to put up, and let’s not forget a shopping list to check off!
This is where Divine Design comes in. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this six-day “shopstravaganza” in Beverly Hills directly benefit Project Angel Food, an organization dedicated to providing meals and encouragement to homebound people battling HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
In addition to being treated to savings on designer wear while giving back to a great cause, shoppers, volunteers, and recipients of Project Angles Foods meals are also receiving a healthy snack from KIND this year, as well as a reusable KIND shopping bag.
If you find yourself too far from Beverly Hills to attend the event this weekend, look for other local nonprofits in your area that are hosting similar shopping events. It’s a great way to check off that shopping list AND supporting a cause that’s meaningful to you. Who says shopping can’t be KIND to your wallet AND the world?
Look who stopped by for a KINDING!
